Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Global Engineering Specialist to support the international dimension of the College of Engineering and Education Abroad Administration. The specialist works with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to expand education abroad and prepare engineering students for success in a global market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in program/project planning and administration; working with faculty.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate cross culturally; multitask with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and administer global education in engineering and architecture portfolios.
• Develop budgets and bid specifications; manage complex programmatic, logistical, and fiscal arrangements.
• Provide pre- and post-travel orientations and materials; advise students and faculty on international opportunities.
• Lead recruitment and outreach for international programs; coordinate with campus offices; support curriculum internationalization.
