Zusammenfassung

Soros Fund Management LLC (SFM) is seeking an End User Support Technician to provide frontline help for the NYC office and support global offices. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and collaboration tools, working with Security, Cloud, and IT teams to ensure reliable end-user experiences.

Location: New York, NY — five days in the office. The role emphasizes quick thinking, strong customer service, and a proactive approach to resolving issues using the Microsoft stack and cloud/SaaS

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years in a Microsoft-based end user support role preferred (internships count).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other relevant fields preferred.
• Experience with supporting Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Office apps, Windows 10/11, Teams, OneDrive.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and collaborative team skills.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and mindset to identify problems and provide resolutions.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi‑Fi, VPN, IP addresses) and troubleshooting logic.
• Prior internships or experience in Finance or trading environments, or retail experience a plus.

Aufgaben

• Handle customer inquiries promptly and resolve issues satisfactorily.
• Troubleshoot end-user hardware including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices in office and home setups.
• Maintain and support telephony, conference rooms, and printers.
• Log work clearly in the ticketing system with steps taken and resolutions.
• Inventory and record-keeping of applications and desktop hardware.
• Adhere to change control and documentation processes.
