Job summary

Abbott Park, IL-based HR team is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to oversee ER matters across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. You will lead investigations, advise managers on policy interpretation, and improve employee relations programs.

You will provide consultative support to HR functions, ensure compliance with country laws, and mentor ER staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a senior, impact-driven role.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• MBA or Master's degree in HR is preferred.
• 10–15 years HR experience with at least 10 years in employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Manages employee relations cases across US, Canada and Puerto Rico.
• Provides expert HR policy guidance and compliance support to managers.
• Leads ER staff and partners with cross-functional teams to improve programs.
• Interprets, communicates HR policies; coordinates ER vendor selections.
