Job summary

Mastercard is seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional to join the Global Employee Relations team. You will partner with People Business Partners, Employment Law, Compliance, and leaders to drive compliant ER practices aligned with Mastercard values and laws.

You will conduct investigations, interpret laws, develop global ER guidance, and lead training to educate employees and leaders on ER topics.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in Employee Relations, HR Compliance or related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred (e.g., master's) or legal background with ER experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data-oriented with experience auditing and analyzing case data.
  • Experience advising on hiring, performance, disciplinary actions, and reorganizations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fair, timely investigations into alleged policy or legal violations.
  • Develop and maintain global ER policies and guidance compliant with laws.
  • Deliver training to employees and leaders on ER topics and compliance.
  • Support audits and inquiries; compile information and maintain docs.
  • Lead projects/workstreams and coordinate with stakeholders across regions.
