Job summary

EMS|MC is seeking a Manager, HR Operations and Employee Relations to lead Employee Relations and corrective action processes while overseeing Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, and Compliance. The role partners with leaders to guide investigations and ensure consistent application of policies across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR with strong ER background, proven coaching ability, and experience at an HR Manager level driving multiple HR operational functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience including Employee Relations and HR Operations.
• Experience leading HR Operations functions: Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, Compliance.
• Proven ability to coach and influence managers through complex employee issues.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages the end‑to‑end corrective action process, coaching managers on performance concerns and documentation.
• Serves as the central owner of all Employee Relations matters, including investigations and policy violations.
• Conducts prompt, thorough investigations with appropriate documentation and outcomes.
• Advises managers on conduct, risk mitigation, and corrective actions.
• Drives oversight of HR Operations functions and ensures accurate payroll, benefits, HRIS, and compliance processes.
• Leads HR team, sets expectations, and promotes accountability and service quality.
