Job summary

Wavelynx is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing, procurement, contract manufacturing, supplier quality, and logistics across a global supply base. The role reports to the VP of Operations at the Broomfield headquarters with up to 10% travel annually.

Essential duties include developing supplier relationships, managing RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, negotiating supply agreements, and driving cost reductions while understanding electronics manufacturing processes. Earn $100k–$120k yearly.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in supply chain, operations management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in supply chain management, sourcing, and negotiation.
• 3+ years in electronics design or manufacturing, with in-house and offshore exposure.
• Hands-on ERP experience; NetSuite preferred.
• Knowledge of electronics design & manufacturing (PCBA, box build, ICs).
• Experience with various manufacturing technologies (SMT, molding, die cast, etc.).
• Strong understanding of costing concepts and should-cost methods.
• Experience with international freight, shipping, and tariffs.

Responsibilities

• Identify new suppliers meeting engineering, cost, volume, and quality goals.
• Develop supplier relationships, scorecards, and business reviews.
• Create and execute the RFI/RFP/RFQ process.
• Negotiate supply agreements across spending categories with senior leaders.
• Direct allocation of materials, supplies, and products.
• Establish performance metrics to measure supply chain factors.
• Ensure contracts are drafted, negotiated, and executed with partners.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiations and substitutions.
• Understand technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain inventory turns and prevent lead-time gaps.
