Job summary

Salient Motion, Inc. in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager- Electronics to own the electronics supply base for PCBAs and related components. You will set commodity strategy and lead supplier relations to ensure cost, lead time, and quality targets across programs.

You will collaborate with engineering and program teams, manage obsolescence, and drive multi-source strategies to protect continuity while adhering to ITAR/AS9100 requirements and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain for electronics.
• Experience sourcing PCBAs, connectors, power electronics, and related components.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems and counterfeit electronic parts avoidance.

Responsibilities

• Own category strategy and supplier selection across PCBAs, connectors, power supplies, motor drives, and electronic sub-assemblies.
• Lead sourcing for new programs from RFQ through award, negotiating cost, lead time, and terms.
• Manage component allocation risk and lead-time volatility; build multi-source strategies.
• Drive obsolescence programs for electronic components across platforms.
• Collaborate with design engineering to influence component selection for cost and availability.
• Negotiate and manage long-term agreements with distributors and manufacturers.
• Monitor market trends and their cost/availability impact; ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR.
