Job summary

Amcor is seeking an experienced Electrical Safety Program Manager to oversee and standardize electrical safety, maintenance, and energy management across facilities worldwide. You will mentor teams, champion best practices, and drive continuous improvements in safety and efficiency.

The role requires leadership across 180+ sites, strong project management skills, and the ability to align regulatory requirements with corporate standards in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to run complex programs or projects that span several sites simultaneously.
• Knowledgeable in NFPA and IEEE electrical standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines.
• Up to 15% travel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Corporate Electrical Safety Program across the globe, including arc flash compliance and risk mitigation.
• Lead the Arc Flash Programs in the US and Europe for 180+ sites, ensuring reports are understood and updated.
• Maintain and revise the Corporate Facility Required electrical PM program and assist with planning and budgeting.
• Act as technical leader for electrical systems, energy management, and regulatory compliance.
• Review site metrics and costs to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize actions.
• Develop corporate best practices and guidelines for plant electrical systems.
• Evaluate facilities and expansion projects to establish scope of work and budgets.
