Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the Corporate Electrical Safety Program across facilities in the US and Europe. You will oversee arc flash compliance, manage risk, and coordinate maintenance standards to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires a minimum of five years in electrical safety or related fields, a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, and travel up to 15%. You will mentor teams and drive continual improvement across 180+ sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to run complex programs or projects that span several sites simultaneously.
• Knowledgeable in NFPA and IEEE electrical standards.
• Ability to travel as necessary. Up to 15% travel is expected.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical safety, power distribution engineering, or project management role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Corporate Electrical Safety Program including arc flash compliance, electrical system risk, mitigation plans, and training programs.
• Lead the Arc Flash Programs in the US and Europe ensuring that 180+ sites are compliant with updates and reporting.
• Maintain, review, and revise the electrical PM program and assist with planning to ensure PM compliance.
• Serve as technical leader and mentor related to electrical systems, energy management, and regulatory requirements.
• Review site metrics and cost information to help prioritize and investigate improvement opportunities.
• Establish guidelines related to plant electrical systems to ensure maintenance and safety standards.
