Job summary

Amcor is seeking an experienced Electrical Safety Program Manager in the Atlanta area to lead arc flash compliance, manage electrical system risk, and drive PM programs across 180+ sites. You will mentor sites, coordinate with global teams, and develop maintenance standards. A bachelor's in EE and 5+ years in safety, distribution engineering, or PM are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to run complex programs or projects that span several sites simultaneously.
• Knowledgeable in NFPA and IEEE electrical standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical safety, power distribution engineering, or project management role.
• Ability to travel as necessary. Up to 15% travel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Use caution and support facility's electrical infrastructure systems to reduce the risk of safety events.
• Respond to any emergency or potential emergency following established procedures.
• Observe, respond and report any instance of process or product non-conformity.
• Security diligence: maintain control of key cards, prevent unauthorized entry to facilities by non-Amcor employees, and proper maintenance / security of Amcor equipment.
• Successfully complete Primary Duties as outlined in 4.0 and associated training.
• Oversee the Corporate Electrical Safety Program including arc flash compliance, electrical system risk, mitigation plans, and training programs.
• Lead the Arc Flash Programs in the US and Europe ensuring that 180+ sites are compliant with their updates, that site leaders understand the reports, complete recommendations, and utilize the update process to keep the documents current.
• Maintain, review, and revise the "Corporate Facility Required" electrical PM program. Assist with planning and project management to ensure PM compliance.
• Serve as technical leader and mentor related to electrical systems, energy management, and regulatory requirements for electrical systems.
• Review site metrics and cost information to help prioritize and investigate improvement opportunities.
