Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a Global Product Lifecycle Engineer with hands-on design, manufacturing and installation experience of electrical products for AWS data centers. You will own products through their life cycle, collaborating with development teams, suppliers and field engineers, ensuring reliability and manufacturability.

You will travel ~30% domestically and internationally, working with engineering, operations and quality teams to meet safety, cost and performance targets while

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing electrical and/or electronics products and launching them into production.
• 5+ years with systems or components including wiring, connectors, relays, circuit breakers, switchgear and/or transformers.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and approve equipment submittals.
• Work with global electrical equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
• Build trust and relationships with stakeholders (reliability, operations, design, compliance).
• Work on concurrent projects, in multiple geographic zones.
• Understand and explain complex systems clearly.
• Provide field engineering support for root-cause analysis and maintenance.
