Job summary

Clarios seeks a Director of Corporate Sustainability to lead the global sustainability strategy, climate reporting, and governance. You will partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, and external bodies to translate regulatory and investor expectations into a prioritized enterprise roadmap.

The role oversees corporate disclosures, GHG accounting, and assurance activities, driving data governance and cross-functional alignment across regions and functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Finance)
• Minimum of 8 years in sustainability reporting, GHG accounting, or climate strategy
• Ownership of a multi-site Scope 1–3 inventory and published report
• Knowledge of CSRD/ESRS, SBTi, ISSB/IFRS S2 and related assurance processes
• Experience designing data governance with Finance/Internal Audit
• Strong Excel; SQL or Python skills

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise sustainability strategy and roadmap, with clear owners and investment cases
• Lead annual sustainability reporting, climate targets, and disclosures (CSRD/ESRS, ISSB-aligned)
• Oversee governance, controls, and data quality for ESG disclosures
• Coordinate cross-functional CSRD compliance workstreams and stakeholder communications
• Represent Clarios with customers, regulators, and industry bodies
