Job summary

The Clorox Company seeks a Director, Environmental Sustainability to translate enterprise climate ambition into system-wide action across a global business. This senior role demands hands-on execution, not just strategy, with accountability across R&D, procurement, finance, and supply chain.

You will drive decarbonization aligned with SBTi targets, embed carbon accounting in operations, oversee Scope 1–3 emissions, and produce executive insights for decision-making and external engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of sustainability strategy across R&D, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal.
• Drive decarbonization priorities aligned with SBTi targets and enterprise climate commitments.
• Embed carbon accounting and material footprinting into core business processes.
• Oversee Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions accounting, ensuring data quality, audit readiness, and methodological rigor.
• Translate packaging and EPR regulations into actionable compliance strategies.
• Guide supplier engagement programs to reduce value chain emissions.
• Deliver executive-level reporting, insights, and decision frameworks.
• Represent sustainability priorities internally and externally across industry and stakeholder forums.
