Job summary

McCormick & Company is seeking a Global Sustainability Director, Climate Strategy & Transition to lead the enterprise climate program from its Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD. The role reports to the Chief Sustainability Officer and collaborates with Procurement, Operations, R&D and Commercial teams.

The ideal candidate will drive decarbonization with governance, build climate literacy across the organization, and guide external partnerships and reporting to meet evolving regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience in climate, sustainability, or related strategy roles.
• Deep expertise in GHG accounting and Scope 1–3 emissions.
• Experience in complex global supply chains and cross-functional environments.
• Understanding of climate-related regulation and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise climate strategy and transition planning with climate targets and roadmaps.
• Drive cross-functional execution of decarbonization initiatives with actionable milestones.
• Lead climate scenario analysis and risk integration for enterprise readiness.
