Job summary
UpGuard is seeking a Director of Global Solutions Engineering to lead the technical engine behind our revenue organization. You will manage a global team of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants, driving the technical win across the customer journey.
This remote-first leadership role requires executive communication, hands-on engagement, and a proven ability to scale complex technical programs, partnerships, and security assessments while aligning with product and enablement.
Qualifications
- Experience building and leading a world-class Solutions/Sales Engineering team.
- Proven ability to sell a technical product to technical buyers.
- Experience managing distributed/global teams across time zones.
- Ownership of the technical experience across the customer journey.
- Hands-on in high-stakes customer calls and demos.
- Experience scaling RFP/security assessment functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a global, multi-layered team of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants.
- Own the technical win in pre-sales with demos, POCs, and technical discovery.
- Own post-sales escalation path and cross-sell initiatives.
- Stay hands-on in critical customer calls to set the technical bar.
- Build scalable RFPs, security questionnaires, and content.
- Enable and scale channel/partner training and certification.
