Job summary

rednote seeks a seasoned DevOps/SRE engineer to lead rollout and operations of international, high-availability platforms. You will evaluate multi-cloud and data center differences, design adaptation plans, and advance CI/CD pipelines with automation across regions.

You will implement HA strategies, participate in incident response, and maintain runbooks and SOPs, collaborating with central R&D and global teams to improve platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud platforms, or infrastructure engineering with strong delivery and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and common infrastructure components; able to deploy and diagnose issues.
• Familiar with cloud-native and IaC technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform; KubeVela a plus.
• Proficient in Go, Java, Python, or Shell; able to build automation tools and read backend code.
• Familiar with at least one major public cloud or enterprise private cloud; knowledge of multi-region deployment and security.
• Familiar with monitoring, logging, alerting systems; experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry.
• Fluent in English and Chinese for cross-region communication.
• Strong ownership, execution, and communication skills; translate platform designs into stable implementations.

Responsibilities

• Drive rollout, integration, localization, and operational support of DevOps platforms across international regions.
• Evaluate infrastructure differences across clouds and data centers; design practical adaptation plans.
• Support adoption of internal DevOps platforms; improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and release workflows.
• Implement high-availability capabilities including incident response playbooks, DR validation, and chaos practices.
• Participate in production operations and incident response; perform RCA and drive improvements.
• Maintain deployment guides, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for international regions.
• Collaborate with central platform R&D and international teams; manage progress, dependencies, risks, and feedback.
