Job summary

First Due is seeking a Platform Site Reliability Engineer to design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, build IaC, and run reliable deployment pipelines. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Security to improve availability, performance, and security across services.

The role emphasizes automation, golden-path standards, and partnering with senior leaders to raise readiness and resilience of the platform. Remote US-focused role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or equivalent.
• Strong cloud infrastructure management experience.
• Proven CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
• IaC principles with modern tooling like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Collaborates with software teams to improve reliability and speed.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure with high availability.
• Build and manage IaC for repeatable, reliable deployments.
• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability for services.
• Participate in incident response, post-incident reviews, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with security and engineering to ensure secure, compliant systems.
