Job summary

Dialight is seeking a Demand Planner in Farmingdale, NJ to support global forecasting across NA, EMEA, and APAC. You will assist in NPI, ECO, and EOL coordination to safeguard supply continuity and work closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations.

The role emphasizes strong analytical capabilities, collaboration, and an execution-focused approach to drive process improvements and align supply chain with regional business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 2–3+ years of operation/production experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work across global time zones.
• Advanced Excel and data analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Demand Planner with forecast loading, maintenance, and trend analysis across Dialight product portfolio in North America, EMEA, and APAC regions.
• Develop dashboards and reports to support supply chain decisions & initiatives, and demand planning objectives.
• Support product lifecycle planning activities, including End-of-Life (EOL) processes, Product Change Notifications (PCNs) review and coordination of activities required to ensure continuity of supply.
• Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by gathering requirements, coordinating cross-functional inputs, supporting phase-in and phase-out plans, and helping manage the transition from product launch through mass production.
• Support Engineering Change Order (ECO) activities by assessing material demand, calculating Future Effective Dates (FEDs), and coordinating with Planning, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Support sales pipeline reviews by analyzing opportunities, demand trends, and material impacts to provide insights into the SI&OP process.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Operations, Planning, Procurement, and Engineering teams to gather input, communicate changes, support planning initiatives, and help drive projects to completion.
• Assist with special projects, process improvements, reporting enhancements, and other strategic initiatives led by supply chain team.
