Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Demand Planning Manager in New Jersey to drive end-to-end demand planning and forecasting activities, collaborating with Sales, Product Management, SCM, and external customers to maintain optimal inventory and service levels.

The role leads CPFR processes for key accounts, analyzes forecast accuracy, and identifies risks and improvement opportunities in inventory, fulfillment, and order management. Strong cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, or related roles.
• Strong expertise in end-to-end supply chain operations including forecasting, production planning, logistics, inventory control, and sales coordination.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for interfacing with retail partners and senior leadership.
• Proven ability to make data-driven decisions in complex, evolving environments.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own demand planning for smart home devices, including forecasting, supply alignment, and inventory planning across the full product lifecycle.
• Manage end-to-end planning activities covering demand forecasting, production coordination, delivery planning, sales alignment, and inventory control.
• Apply demand planning and supply chain expertise to support planning across diverse partner environments.
• Lead regular business reviews with distribution partners to align forecasts, sell-out performance, inventory status, and order planning.
• Monitor inventory risks such as excess, shortages, and aging stock and adjust plans to protect sales and profitability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, production planning, logistics, inventory, and sales teams to ensure end-to-end alignment.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and scalable planning structures as the business evolves.
• Make data-driven planning decisions balancing customer requirements with internal constraints.
