Job summary

LG Electronics in the United States is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to drive end-to-end demand planning and forecasting, collaborating with Sales, Product Management, SCM, and external customers to optimize inventory and service levels.

The role leads CPFR processes for key accounts, analyzes forecast vs. actuals, and identifies risks and improvement opportunities related to inventory, fulfillment, and order management. A strong cross-functional, data-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, or related supply chain roles.
• Strong end-to-end supply chain expertise including forecasting, production planning, logistics, inventory control, and sales coordination.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills interfacing with retail partners and senior leadership.
• Proven ability to make data-driven decisions in complex, evolving environments.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Experience in consumer electronics or smart home devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own demand planning for smart home devices, including forecasting, supply alignment, and inventory planning across the full product lifecycle.
• Manage end-to-end planning activities: forecasting, production coordination, delivery planning, sales alignment, and inventory control.
• Apply supply chain expertise to support planning across diverse environments and partner setups.
• Lead regular business reviews with distribution partners to align forecasts, sell-out, inventory status, and order planning.
• Monitor inventory risks and proactively adjust plans to protect sales performance and profitability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, production planning, logistics, inventory, and sales teams for end-to-end alignment.
• Contribute to process improvements and scalable planning structures as the business evolves.
• Make data-driven decisions balancing customer requirements with internal constraints.
