Job summary

New Era Cap LLC in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Global Demand Planner to drive forecasts and align supply planning with business goals. This on-site role emphasizes S&OP, Ecom Demand, and cross-functional collaboration across sales, production, and finance.

Responsibilities include analyzing data, leading demand sessions, and developing inventory plans while leveraging Excel modeling and ERP/MRP systems to support accurate forecasting and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 3–5 years of experience in an analytical position.
• Working knowledge of an MRP/ERP system (e.g., SAP, Blue Cherry, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards).
• Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint; advanced Excel a plus.
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools (Power BI) a plus.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data and trends to develop statistical forecasts for the Demand Plan review.
• Evaluate forecast-to-actuals and communicate points with the Demand Team.
• Coordinate S&OP and Ecom/Global plans and lead monthly/bi-monthly demand sessions.
• Develop and track Global Production/Capacity plans for headwear and apparel vendors.
• Create and maintain S&OP minutes and follow-up actions.
• Identify slow-moving/obsolete materials and drive inventory optimization actions.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication between Demand and Supply Chain teams.
