Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems seeks a seasoned strategist to develop and execute a multi-year growth agenda, guiding leadership with data-driven insights and aligning investments to critical defense opportunities worldwide. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in strategy, defense market analysis, business development, consulting, or related roles in defense/aerospace/national security.
• Ability to interpret geopolitical developments and defense procurement trends into structured analysis and recommendations.
• Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives and working with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and financial skills (market sizing, portfolio analysis, business case support).
• Experience working with or supporting government relations, policy, or regulatory teams in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Research defense strategies, budgets, and threat landscapes.
• Develop implications and recommendations in response to research findings.
• Align internal R&D investments with enterprise defense strategy to influence technical product roadmaps.
• Mentor colleagues and cross-functional teams to scale defense market literacy and align with GDLS processes.
