Job summary

AV is seeking an International Contracts Manager to lead international contracting for Direct Commercial Sales across multiple business units. You will partner with legal, finance, procurement, engineering, operations and business development to streamline contract workflows and mitigate risks.

The role covers bid, capture and negotiation processes, lifecycle management, and compliance with ITAR/EAR and US government contracting rules. Travel is approximately 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree requirement or equivalent experience.
• 6-8 years aerospace/defense or government contracting experience with international focus.
• Expertise in Federal and International regulations.
• Experience in international (DCS/FMS) contract administration/management.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving track record.
• Ability to translate business and technical risk to leadership.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Contract drafting and negotiation experience.
• ITAR/EAR knowledge and US government contracting laws.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations, Contracts, Business Development, Strategy and Marketing, Finance and Legal on bid and proposal activities.
• Manage contract lifecycle including reviews, negotiations, modifications, close-outs, and program support.
• Draft, evaluate, and negotiate Sales/Purchase, Subcontracts, License, Master and other contracts.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Monitor performance of long-term contracts and summarize obligations for stakeholders.
• Coordinate flow-downs of terms with all functions.
• May lead internal and external audits.
• Maintain contract files and data in systems.
• Prepare reports and participate in status reviews.
