Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in California is seeking an International Contracts Manager to oversee complex defense contracts for Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) across multiple business units. You will partner with legal, finance, procurement, engineering and business development to streamline workflows, evaluate performance, and mitigate risk while ensuring compliant execution of agreements that support AV’s global goals.

Travel approx. 25% internationally and domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in aerospace/defense or government contracting with international contracting.
• Knowledge of ITAR/EAR, FDCPA and US government acquisition laws.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bid, capture and contract negotiation documentation for international opportunities.
• Lead contract negotiations and administrative duties across the contract lifecycle.
• Coordinate flow-downs of terms with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate contract files and data in business systems.
