Job summary

AV is seeking an International Contracts Manager to lead complex contract activities for direct commercial sales (DCS) on defense projects. You will collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, engineering, operations and business development to streamline workflows and mitigate risk across global programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
• 6-8 years' experience in aerospace/defense or government contracting, with international focus.
• Knowledge of Federal and International regulations.
• Experience in International (DCS/FMS) contract administration/management.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.

Responsibilities

• Bid, capture and contract negotiation processes for international opportunities.
• Manage contract lifecycle including amendments and interpretations.
• Draft, evaluate, negotiate various agreements (Sales/Purchase, Subcontracts, Consulting, License, Master).
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate flow-downs with functional departments in programs.
• Lead audits internal and external as needed.
• Maintain contract files and data in systems; prepare status reports.
