Job summary

11:11 Systems is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to support global cloud infrastructure. You will work on-site across data centers, focusing on compute, storage, and network hardware, with responsibilities including asset tracking, cabling, labeling, and vendor coordination.

This role primarily focuses on the Los Angeles data center and requires travel to other sites as needed. The role requires 3+ years in data center operations, a related degree or equivalent experience, travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience with DCIM platforms and asset management systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work second shift when traveling.

Responsibilities

• Travel to data centers nationally and internationally for build-out projects with focus on Los Angeles.
• Collaborate with Data Center Operations, Infrastructure Deployment, and Cloud Operations teams for on-site support.
• Track and audit asset and component inventory at data center locations.
• Assist with equipment tracking, cabling, labeling, troubleshooting, and shipping.
• Act as local contact for vendor service activities and coordination.
• Participate in capacity management for infrastructure and facilities planning.
• Learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment; follow project planning processes.
• Be a point of contact for other departments on data center issues.
• Work non-standard hours and participate in on-call rotation.
