Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to join our team supporting mission-critical facilities across multiple sites. You will perform hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance, monitor essential systems, and troubleshoot issues to maintain high uptime.

The role requires travel between data center locations and may involve shifts up to 12 hours and on-call rotations. A relocation stipend may be provided for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
• Perform rack installs and rack decommissioning within SLAs.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment.
