Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a Traveling Director of Operations for its Critical Facilities-Data Centers division. The role oversees field supervision on mega campus projects ($1B+), guiding scheduling, safety, quality, and staffing to meet budget and schedule across multiple locations.

You will coordinate with operations leadership, manage staff assignments, analyze production data, and drive continuous improvement on project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master Builder designation or equivalent experience in construction operations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/EH&S programs and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Extensive project management experience with large-scale megaprojects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field Superintendents on mega campus projects with multiple locations.
• Coordinate workforce planning and staff assignments across mega projects.
• Guide staffing projections and Work In Place (WIP) using project software.
• Provide scheduling and organizational guidance to site leadership.
• Ensure quality, safety, productivity, and budget adherence across sites.
• Lead schedule reviews and track critical activities and ROJ dates.
• Analyze schedule data to identify gaps, develop recovery plans, and meet project goals.
• Document risks and issues and report to project management.
• Oversee QC program and safety program implementation across locations.
