Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Data Center Facility Manager to lead and optimize data center physical infrastructure across regions. You will supervise technicians, coordinate improvement projects, and ensure high reliability while controlling costs.

The role requires extensive experience in electrical/mechanical systems, strong leadership, and the ability to work in a high-demand, mission-critical environment. Boardman, OR-based on-site position.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of work in a management position with 5+ direct reports.
• 5+ years of data center or mission-critical environment experience with UPS, generators, HVAC, and related systems.
• Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure.
• Lead 24x7 engineering technicians and drive projects end-to-end.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to meet contracted SLAs.
• Manage operations budget and after-hours on-call responsibilities.
