Job summary

Meta's Edge & Network Services (ENS) team is seeking an experienced Network Engineer, Deployment & Support to deploy and manage production networks across data centers, CDN, and backbone infrastructures. You will work with partners and vendors to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability, contributing to global network initiatives.

The role requires designing and executing deployments, upgrades, and maintenance while supporting new hardware and software platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years designing, deploying and operating large-scale networks.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP).
• Working knowledge of TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS and IPv4/IPv6.
• Experience in multi-vendor environments with hands-on networking hardware.
• Knowledge of structured cabling and fiber-optic cabling.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.
• Experience in global team environments and solving problems with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deployment, configuration, and management of all data center network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with partner teams and vendors for day-to-day regional network reliability.
• Schedule and perform maintenance; upgrades, migrations, and decommissions of production networks.
• Create deployment install packages and maintain documentation and asset databases.
• Establish and implement global best practices; contribute to new scalable network designs.
• Support development, testing, and integration of new hardware/software platforms.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support network 24x7.
• Travel 10-30% based on project.
