Job summary

Meta's Edge & Network Services (ENS) team seeks a Network Engineer to deploy and support large-scale networks across data centers, CDN, and regional networks. You will work with multiple vendors, implement upgrades, and contribute to global best practices while supporting 24x7 operations.

The role requires 6+ years in network design and deployment, experience with BGP/IS-IS/MPLS, IPv4/IPv6, and a multi-vendor environment. Travel 10-30% is possible; bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 6+ years deploying and operating large-scale networks.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols (BGP/IS-IS/MPLS/RSVP-TE/VRRP).
• Networking protocols TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6.
• Experience in multi-vendor environments with hands-on hardware.
• Knowledge of physical infrastructure design, cabling.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage data center network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with partner teams and vendors for reliability of regional network.
• Schedule and perform maintenance including upgrades, migrations, decommissioning.
• Create deployment install packages and maintain as-built docs and asset DB.
• Establish and implement global best practices and design scalable network solutions.
• Support development, testing and integration of new hardware and software platforms.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support network 24x7.
• Travel 10-30% based on project.
