Job summary

PSA BDP in Houston seeks an experienced Customs Compliance Specialist to prepare and compile documents required by federal government for discharge of foreign cargo at domestic port, acting as intermediary between importers, carriers, and U.S. Customs.

You will coordinate daily customs clearance, ensure SOPs, manage data entry, invoicing, and support customer communications, with a team-driven, detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• College degree required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiar with import/export procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as focal point of contact for existing and new customers.
• Coordinate daily customs clearance and monitor brokers' procedures and reports.
• Implement SOPs to meet customer requirements.
• Data entry and cross-checking in system terms.
• Prepare, cost-check and present invoices; close jobs.
• Support manager to improve communication and cooperation with customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by team leader.
