Job summary

PSA BDP, a leader in globally integrated logistics solutions, seeks an Experienced Operations professional in Houston, TX. You will prepare and manage documents for federal export/import and act as liaison among shippers, carriers, and US Customs, contributing to efficient cargo discharge at domestic ports.

We value individuals with at least 3 years in logistics, strong communication, teamwork, and leadership potential, capable of navigating regulatory requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of Transportation industry and global import/export regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Communicate operational situations to management
• Assist in collection of any outstanding accounts
• Maintain communication with steamship and/or airline agents as to status of shipments
• Assist sales department with sales calls to new and established customers
• Maintain communication and relationships with customers
• Together with management prepare fees and duty rate quotes in a timely manner
• Open, invoice and close files.
• Manage and supervise daily work
