Job summary

Ladders seeks a Head of Global Custody Operations in New York to lead and evolve global custody processing, settlements, and corporate actions. You will drive real-time operations, advance automation, and partner with compliance and risk to strengthen controls and efficiency.

We expect 15+ years in financial services with 10+ years in leadership, deep custody expertise, and a track record of large-scale transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in financial services, preferably operations.
• 10+ years of leadership and team management.
• Deep expertise in securities processing and custody functions.
• Knowledge of OCC, DTC/DTCC, and CSDR regulations.
• Experience with transformation and automation programs in large-scale operations.
• Proven experience managing operational budgets and workflows.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for custody operations aligned with business goals.
• Lead the transition from batch processing to real-time management of operations.
• Drive digital transformation through automation, AI, and enhanced workflows.
• Oversee processing of securities settlements and corporate actions across global markets.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Monitor KPIs for operational efficiency, including settlement accuracy and resolution times.
• Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing global operations team.
