Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Global Head of Custody Operations to oversee front-to-back operational integrity of the custody and asset servicing platform.

Lead a global team delivering safekeeping, settlement, asset servicing, and network management across markets and currencies. The role drives operating-model transformation toward real-time management, embedding automation and AI, strengthening resilience, and balancing risk, compliance, and client experience while collaborating with sub-custodians,

Qualifications

• 15+ years financial services experience and leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in securities processing, settlement, corporate actions, income/tax processing in custody.
• Strong regulatory knowledge (OCC, DTC/DTCC, CSDR) and best practices.
• Proven track record leading transformation, automation, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategy for custody operations and operating model.
• Move from batch processing to real-time exception management with tighter settlement timelines.
• Drive digital transformation using RPA, automation, cloud, and AI to raise STP rates.
• Oversee sub-custodian relationships, network governance, and market resiliency.
• Own operational client experience with escalations and root-cause analysis.
