Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Senior Associate in Los Angeles to support Relationship Managers in building and managing client relationships for corporate and international banking clients. You will identify product opportunities, perform financial analyses, and coordinate with product partners to deliver value across a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate banking with international requirements.
• Track record of leading high-performing sales teams.
• Ability to identify and meet customer needs with a broad product set.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products and cross-border solutions.
• High attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
• Expertise in customer due diligence and KYC, incl. high-risk KYC.
• Licensing: FINRA Series 79, 63 and SIE or plan to obtain within 120 days.
• Credit assessment skills and portfolio monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers to optimize client value and deliver needs-based solutions.
• Attend client meetings and act as first point of contact for daily credit inquiries.
• Prepare analyses, proposals and presentations for prospective customers.
• Assist with client planning, pipeline management and data/call report updates.
• Perform financial, credit and profitability analyses and prepare remarks.
• Collaborate with product partners to deliver appropriate client solutions.
• Monitor risk through AML/Sanctions alerts and escalation as needed.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and ensure successful implementation.
