Job summary

Det-Tronics, a global safety technology leader, seeks a Global Controller based in Minneapolis to lead accounting, consolidate finances across entities, and ensure US GAAP compliance. You will partner with the CFO, Spectrum Safety Solutions, and senior leadership to drive accurate reporting and strong controls.

The role requires 10+ years in accounting/finance, global company experience, and a CPA preferred. Expect close collaboration with finance teams and occasional travel to other locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years in accounting/finance with global company exposure.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and audit procedures guidance.
• Experience with tax regulations and financial consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards across all entities.
• Provide monthly financial updates to senior management and parent.
• Manage monthly close and year-end audit processes.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
• Lead financial reporting per US GAAP and drive global reporting.
• Support financial diligence for business development and acquisitions.
• Ensure local filings and GAAP requirements are completed on time.
