Job summary

Anatta Design seeks an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions. You will report to the President and drive accurate financials, robust controls, and strategic insights to scale globally.

Responsibilities include consolidations, audits, budgeting, forecasting, and developing dashboards. The role requires strong US GAAP expertise, multi-currency accounting, and leadership across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or CMA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
• Experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries/entities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage Intacct, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across all entities.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, and local regulations.
• Manage external audit relationships and coordinate annual audits.
• Maintain and improve the chart of accounts, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Develop financial models tied to growth strategy.
• Build a financial forecast aligned with company goals.
• Conduct variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Develop executive dashboards and KPIs.
• Design cash flow projections and profitability modeling.
• Define and develop KPI dashboards.
• Oversee all accounting operations and payroll across jurisdictions.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital.
• Implement internal controls to safeguard assets.
