Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Manager in the United States to lead bid/proposal work and oversee all contract lifecycle stages for complex aerospace programs.

You will collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, engineering, and program teams to ensure compliant, risk-mitigated contracts, while driving efficient performance and customer relations across long-term agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6-8 years in aerospace/defense/government contracting environment.
• Secret clearance required; TS preferred.
• Strong FAR/DFAR knowledge and government contract administration experience.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with diverse contract types.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid and proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and administration for complex programs.
• Manage contract lifecycle, including modifications, amendments, and close-outs.
• Draft, evaluate, and negotiate NDAs, S/PAs, subcontracts, licenses, and master agreements.
• Ensure terms comply with regulations and company policies; perform risk reviews.
