Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, has an opening for a Senior Manager, Contracts within the Global PATRIOT program area. You will oversee a multinational portfolio focused on Direct Commercial Sales, leading front-end assessment, proposals, and contract management to meet requirements.

The successful candidate will apply strong business acumen, develop negotiation strategies, and collaborate with Program Management, counsel, and cross-functional teams to guide reviews, risk

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
• Experience in DCS and FMS contracting
• Experience with the FAR/DFARS
• Experience with proposal development and negotiations

Responsibilities

• 25% international travel to Europe
• Improve acquisition timelines and customer pace of contractual actions
• Develop pre-negotiation objectives and negotiate strategies during proposals
• Communicate effectively with internal/external customers to influence decisions
• Investigate and resolve complex contractual matters with stakeholders
• Provide strategic advice on rights/obligations, regulations, and policy to mitigate risks
• Improve the contract organization’s overall quality and bench strength
