Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a senior Construction Director to lead ground-up projects across North America, with potential LATAM and beyond. You will guide design, procurement, operations, IT/Network, and finance to ensure seamless construction management, on-time delivery, and profitability.

Travel is expected; oversee multiple vendors (25+), manage contracts, and set programs to raise standards. A bachelor’s in engineering/construction management and 7+ years of data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience managing commercial construction projects or programs.
• Strong knowledge of building construction and project management processes at a national scale.
• Experience with data center design across North America.
• Ability to analyze construction documents including drawings, specs and contracts.
• CPM scheduling, cost estimating, bid/proposal development, and contract administration experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and industry software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-regional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction on ground-up construction, remodels, and renovations.
• Direct day-to-day operations of construction projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, procurement, operations, IT/Network, finance).
• Manage 25+ external vendors per project (GCs, A/E, commissioning, equipment suppliers).
• Implement company processes and best practices; ensure contract administration and compliance.
• Monitor quality, schedule, and budget; report status to management.
