Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking an Associate Director, Customer Compensation & Policy to own global compensation strategy and engine architecture within GCX. You will shape a multi-year roadmap, define rules, thresholds, and automation with cross-functional partners across Operations, Technology, Finance, and Market Leadership.

The role demands analytical rigor and executive presence to drive adoption across a multi-market organization, balancing cost discipline with customer trust and retention.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is required.
• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
• Advanced SQL and data analysis skills for policy decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the global compensation strategy and engine architecture across markets and brands.
• Define rules, thresholds, segmentation logic, and automation frameworks for recovery decisions.
• Lead compensation experimentation with A/B testing across offers, values, and channels.
• Build governance for policy and cross-market adaptation while ensuring scalability and auditable processes.
• Own the compensation P&L, monitor spend by market and category, and manage cost-per-incident targets.
• Collaborate with Technology, Analytics, Finance, and Market Leaders to drive adoption of new frameworks.
