Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Director of Global Compensation and Equity to lead and evolve the company’s global compensation programs while partnering with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to ensure competitive, equitable rewards across regions.

The role drives governance, documentation, and continuous improvement of compensation practices. The position oversees annual planning, equity administration, regulatory compliance, and executive compensation support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
10+ years of progressive compensation experience in multinational organizations.
Experience leading annual compensation planning and salary structuring.
Experience with equity administration and executive compensation.

Responsibilities

Lead the evolution of the global compensation strategy and governing principles.
Oversee annual compensation planning, merit increases, promotions, and bonus planning.
Partner with regional HR leaders to ensure local relevance and global consistency.
Lead equity planning, grants, and governance with executive leadership support.
Ensure compliance with global compensation regulations and pay transparency requirements.
Collaborate with Workday and HR systems teams to optimize compensation functionality.
