Job summary

Legend Biotech seeks an Associate Director, Executive Compensation to join the Total Rewards team in Somerset, NJ. You will design and analyze compensation programs for executives, benchmark pay against market data, and support governance reporting for senior leadership.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, cross-functional collaboration with Finance and HR, and strategic project work across global compensation initiatives. Strong Excel and Workday experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in compensation or total rewards.
• Experience with compensation analysis, incentive plan design support, and market benchmarking.
• Exposure to executive or senior leadership compensation programs.
• Global and/or publicly traded company experience; biotech/pharma or life sciences preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables; macros a plus).
• Experience with compensation surveys and benchmarking methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and support short-term and long-term incentive programs, including annual bonus plans and equity-based awards.
• Support executive and leadership compensation design, benchmarking, and governance reporting.
• Lead market intelligence and benchmarking efforts for key roles to ensure competitive rewards.
• Contribute to global compensation initiatives, pay structure reviews, and job architecture alignment.
• Develop data-driven materials and analyses to support leadership and Compensation Committee discussions.
