Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking an Associate Director, Executive Compensation, to design and analyze executive pay programs, lead benchmarking, and advise on market trends.

You will partner with Finance and HR to ensure aligned, affordable pay strategies, while supporting governance disclosures and leadership communications. This is a hands-on role in a global, biotech setting that values data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in HR, business, finance, economics, or related field.
• CCP certification strongly preferred or in progress.
• 6–8 years of progressive compensation or total rewards experience.
• Prior experience with compensation consulting firms is highly preferred.
• Hands-on compensation analysis, incentive design, and benchmarking experience.
• Experience with global publicly traded company environments; biotech/pharma experience a plus.
• Experience with compensation tools and HR systems (Workday preferred).
• Excellent analytical and modeling skills (Excel, scenario modeling, cost analysis).
• Strong ability to translate data into practical business insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and deliver short- and long-term incentive programs aligned with business goals.
• Benchmark executive compensation and conduct market intelligence for competitiveness.
• Partner with Finance and HR to ensure affordability and strategic pay outcomes.
• Develop data-driven materials for leadership and Compensation Committee discussions.
• Support executive compensation reporting, disclosures, and governance documentation.
• Collaborate with Talent and HR on leadership priorities and role market needs.
• Monitor market trends and adjust pay structures to attract and retain key talent.
• Contribute to global compensation initiatives and communication materials.
