Job summary

Elanco in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Americas Compensation and Benefits Partner to lead and coordinate total rewards initiatives across the region. You will partner with HR Business Partners and global compensation leaders to design base salary structures, bonus programs, and market benchmarks.

This role requires 7+ years of total rewards experience, a bachelor’s degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and Workday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance, or related business discipline.
• 7+ years of demonstrated experience as a total rewards business partner in a global organization.
• Hands-on, adaptable, and highly organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across levels.
• Commitment to confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS (Workday preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement compensation programs and initiatives across Elanco’s global footprint.
• Serve as compensation and benefits point of contact for assigned regions.
• Manage market benchmarking and development of base salary structures and bonus programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal partners (Business Leaders, Finance, HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility).
• Contribute to the implementation and communication of compensation and benefits policies.
• Manage external vendor relationships ensuring service quality and change management.
• Participate in country benefit vendor reviews (excluding US).
• Collaborate with HRIS on configuration to support local, regional, and global requirements.
• Identify operational improvements and efficiencies with the compensation administration team.
• Manage a team of 1-2 direct reports.
