Job summary

KAYAK is seeking an Analytics Analyst to translate commercial data into actionable insights that support revenue decisions across flights, hotels, cars, and advertising. You will work with teams across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia‑Pacific.

You will build and maintain dashboards, answer ad‑hoc data requests, ensure data quality, define KPIs, and support forecasting. Present findings to senior leaders and collaborate with data engineering.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in an analytical, BI, operations, or similar role.
• Hands-on SQL experience writing queries to explore and manipulate large datasets
• Experience with data visualization/reporting tools (Looker/Tableau/Superset/Power BI)
• Ability to communicate data findings to audiences with varying technical backgrounds
• Curiosity and attention to detail in solving ambiguous problems with data
• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation/automation
• Familiarity with travel, e-commerce, or digital advertising industry
• Experience with AI or agentic analytics tools

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial datasets to identify trends, opportunities and drivers across travel verticals.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into business performance.
• Respond to ad-hoc data and analysis requests from commercial teams.
• Monitor data accuracy and troubleshoot discrepancies across data sources.
• Define and document KPIs and build models to support forecasting and goal setting.
• Collaborate with data engineering/BI to translate reporting needs into technical requirements.
• Contribute to global analytics projects such as inventory forecasting and partner-facing reporting tools.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.
