Job summary

KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings, seeks an Analytics professional to turn commercial data into actionable insights supporting revenue decisions across flights, hotels, cars, and ads. This role is tied to KAYAK for Business growth and requires collaboration with teams across regions and time zones.

The role emphasizes building dashboards, forecasting models, and communicating findings to senior leaders. Cambridge, MA presence is expected three days per week, with strong emphasis on data quality

Qualifications

• At least 2 years with data in an analytical, BI, operations, or similar role.
• At least 2 years of hands-on SQL experience writing queries to explore large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with a data visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, Superset, Power BI).
• Ability to clearly communicate data findings to audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and comfort solving ambiguous problems with data.
• Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers across travel verticals including flights, hotels, cars, and advertising.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to give commercial teams timely visibility into business performance.
• Respond to ad-hoc data and analysis requests from commercial teams.
• Monitor data accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and maintain reporting reliability across existing data sources.
• Define and document KPIs with commercial teams and build models to support forecasting and goal-setting.
• Collaborate with data engineering and BI colleagues to ensure data quality and translate reporting needs into technical requirements.
• Contribute to global analytics projects such as inventory forecasting, partner-facing reporting tools, and AI-assisted analytics solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior commercial leaders.
