Job summary

Adobe Inc. is seeking a seasoned Strategic Sourcing professional to lead end-to-end cloud procurement initiatives.

You will partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Finance to craft sourcing strategies, optimize spend, and negotiate multi-year cloud commitments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will drive governance, risk management, and long-term platform strategy, while mentoring teams and aligning with Legal on SLAs and contract obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or similar (MBA, JD preferred).
• Strategic Sourcing/Procurement-related industry certification(s) a plus.
• 6–10 years' experience in Strategic Sourcing with an emphasis in cloud software or SaaS.
• Deep knowledge of software contracting trends, licensing models, and business models.
• Experience leading teams; formal people leadership preferred.
• Familiarity with fiscal planning cycles and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with BI reporting.
• Ability to synthesize complex data for executive presentation views.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end commercial strategy for global cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and complex enterprise agreements.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Finance to translate cloud usage patterns into sourcing strategies that reduce TCO while maintaining performance.
• Develop and execute negotiation strategies for multi-year cloud commitments and marketplace agreements.
• Utilize governance mechanisms to improve visibility into cloud spend, usage forecasting, and risk management.
• Monitor market trends across hyperscalers to inform build vs. buy decisions and long-term platform strategy.
• Proactively seek value-creating opportunities across spend categories.
• Oversee contract obligations and renewal strategy with Legal involvement.
• Develop, issue, and coordinate RFx activity and lead commercial negotiations.
• Ensure robust SLAs and risk mitigation through cross-functional collaboration.
• Report progress weekly and maintain detailed agreements and payment forecasts in procurement systems.
• Drive continuous improvement and organizational change initiatives.
