Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is seeking an experienced Billing Team Lead for a hybrid in-office/remote role within a growing financial services organization. You will own complex customer invoicing, maintain billing parameters, and help improve processes and controls.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in billing or accounting, exceptional Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in billing, AR, or related accounting/operations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets.
• Experience managing detailed, customer-specific billing requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Own timely and accurate processing of recurring and specialized customer invoicing.
• Document and update billing parameters and customer PO information.
• Prepare and analyze reports to support billing and operations.
• Update billing data through customer portals and external systems.
• Review activity for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Collections, and other teams on billing matters.
• Maintain accurate customer data in internal systems.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
